Dr. Regina Platt, often referred to as the "Stepologist," is a messenger of hope. She is a tenacious leader who empowers individuals and communities to take the steps forward to obtain their desired outcomes. Dr. Regina is a trained Restorative Practitioner, skilled Public Speaker, Published Author, and One on One Coaching with education in Business Administration. She possesses a unique background working with individuals with mild to severe disabilities, primarily in therapeutic, corrections, and educational environments. She currently serves as Racial Justice Coordinator and Community Advocate with YWCA Northeast Kansas. As she facilitates, advocates, and supports Northeast Kansas to step forward, she is bridging the hearts of companies and communities to progress forward inclusively unified.

Additionally, Dr. Regina ran for City Council in 2022. While on this journey, she wrote and published "Released" and partnered in writing the "Almanic of Rising Stars" with a group of powerful change agents. She believes that each of our differences makes a difference as we work together to restore, revive, and unite communities. For the past 25 years, her life has resonated to serve and help others discover their potential. While others have allowed themselves to become stuck because of Covid, culture, and trauma wounds, as a servant leader, she has chosen to step into her call, allowing her to lay paths to equip others to step forward.

On April 27, 2022, in Gary, Indiana, she was appointed World Civility Ambassador. On May 14, 2022, United Graduate College and Seminary International honored Regina Platt with an honorary degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities. Dr. Regina knows that to live is to step intentionally purposed to breathe life and light into the world.
